"Had a lovely stay at Ralphs in a family room with myself and my daughter and her 2 friends.Lovely room and the staff were just lovely I look forward to a future stay again."
"Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle."
"Fabulous hotel in lovely location.
I could tell you about the great bedroom with very spacious bathroom with great towels. Both spotless.
I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast.
Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional.
A credit to the hotel."
"What a beautiful B&B. Very tastefully decorated, comfy bed. Breakfast was superb and owners were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this B&B. "
"This was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend."
With options for hot tub, barbecue/pizza barn and fire brazier.
10/10 Excellent
"Host couple was wonderful. Very understanding of our timetables during our arrival and long excursions. And, quick with recommendations that left us with plenty of reasons to come back to stay with them again and finish their list. The considerate set-up of their kitchen helped us pull off a successful family meal for our whole party."
"Our stay was OUTSTANDING! We highly recommend Blackwell House. The owners are exceptional and we will be back. I couldn't recommend this delightful experience more. "
Charming 3 Bedroom, Self Catering in centre of Mid Ulster
10/10 Excellent
"We were on an extended family trip to visit ancestral places in Northern Ireland. Initially, I wasn’t sure how the ‘self-catering’ would be. This lovely home has an excellently appointed kitchen. Being located in this lovely country neighborhood just outside Cookstown ended up being the perfect central location for everything we needed! We did a day trip drive up to the Antrim coast for Dunluce Castle and Giants Causeway. Josie is a superb host! Payment instructions were clear and communication in advance was excellent. She welcomed us then met us as we were leaving, to ensure we had a quality stay. We made a new friend in Cookstown! If you can navigate country driving, this is an amazing and peaceful location."
"Property was lovely. Beautifull location . The host gave us some ideas of places to visit, the opportunity to visit some child friendly locations and saw beautiful scenery.
We hope to return and explore this area further. "
"Fabulous apartment. Spacious in a good location. Parking nearby. Comfy beds. Close to shops and places to eat. Great cafe below apartment. Well worth a visit.
Handy stay for Game of Thrones Studio Tour. "
"Edwin was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a lovely lakeside look out where we watched the sunset (Edwin's recommendation). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed chatting to Edwin each morning over the delicious breakfast he cooked us (with fresh bread and eggs from his gorgeous ducks!) and the meal easily sustained us throughout the day which was perfect. He always had recommendations for us and his knowledge and passion for Belfast and Ireland as a whole made us feel very proud to be visiting. Cannot recommend this farm stay enough, thank you so much Edwin! "
