"What an absolutely beautiful stay, in a stunning place. Our host was attentive and kind, and the food was wonderful. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and particularly for my needs on a road trip with my 18 year old son, the accommodation offering two adjoining bedrooms was perfect, and we could park outside. Also very good value in my opinion. I would definitely return, it’s also ideal for couples and I would love to bring my wife here. "

"Our stay at Casanova Panoramic Rooms was absolutely wonderful. The room was beautiful, spotless, and the view was simply breathtaking. The entire check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and having convenient parking made everything even easier. We also loved the restaurant—the food was delicious, and breakfast was excellent. "The hotel itself was fine and the rooms were nice however we booked 3 rooms and some had a kettle and water in and others didn’t. Parking which was said is available is only for 5 cars which you have to book in advance. 5 cars for over 50 bedrooms. Needless to say parking was an issue. Night staff was fantastic as well as some of the day staff however one of the older guys during the day was not exactly a friendly guest oriented person. All in all the hotel and most of the staff were great and the location was excellent."

"One of my favorite hotels. The rooms (at least ours) are very small. BUT... they're beautiful as is the entire property. It's a hike to town, so plan on driving or taking a cab. The views are incredible. It's the type of hotel experience you would imagine for your Italian dream vacation. Nitpicks: We booked two days in Siena as a rest in the middle of the rest of our travels. This would have been PERFECT for that, except that they were hosting a large, Indian wedding. (Which was BEAUTIFUL by the way.) But, the DJ played (accompanied by a saxophonist!) until almost midnight and the morning ceremony started pretty early as well. So, it didn't end up being as restful as we'd hoped as this was all happening right outside our window. Also, if the restaurant or bar is closed, there is no where to get a snack or drink. (Not really anywhere to get just a snack anyway.) Wouldn't be such a big deal, except you're not near any convenience stories or anything. A vending machine would be nice!"

"Borgo refers to something like little village and that’s what this property is. A cluster of beautiful stone buildings and gravel drives surrounded by acres of olive and lavender. Beautifully appointed common and areas in rooms. Excellent restaurant with elevated cuisine. Beautiful pool. Distance skyline view of Sienna, Really no negatives. Would definitely come back."

"The photos might hint at the quality of the property but don’t really do it justice. The sweeping easterly, vineyard views across to Monti-in-Chianti and up to Brolio are really mesmerizing. Grounds were well kept. Breakfast had the usual Italian selection of good fruits, grains, meats, breads, and sweets. Coupled with a limited menu of ala carte items and rich cappuccinos! Our suite was located about .25mi south of the main building. We enjoyed the walk multiple times per day but grandma might not. The room was nicely appointed with a living room, large bedroom, closet space and two sink bathroom. Stocked mini-fridge and cof/tea selections. Each room had its own outdoor area with a table/chaise to enjoy with coffee or after the pool. The out door pool is not heated (indoor pool is) but very comfortable on the 90 degree days we spent there. Pool service isn’t quite the same as some resorts, as you would go to the bar to order food/beverage and they’d bring it out to your chair setup. A good selection of menu items are available to choose from. Restaurants on site were excellent. Had the Bistecca at Tuscanio and it was perfection while LaColonna’s carpaccio and fusilli dish were both a treat. Staff was friendly though a bit harried. Seemed like they just needed a few more bodies around to smooth out the place. Ilaria at the front desk was really outstanding with her command and knowledge. While Marcella really made the pool with her wry smile and daily daiquiri selection."
