The loft is situated on top of a garage that is not in use, it is a private building with anyone booking a stay being the only occupants. In the summer time, the river is great for swimming, fishing or boating in. If jumping off a dock for a swim isn't for you, there is a beach 3 mins away that is well kept and shallow for the first few hundred feet as well as two boat launch ramps. At night you can enjoy having a nice fire in the firepit located right beside the house and BBQ on the provided grill. During the winter, the snowmobile trails are relatively close by and winter activities are usually going on in the area. At nighttime, stay in by the gas fireplace for warmth, watch some TV and enjoy the nice quiet away from it all feeling. It did not disappoint ! This property is very easy to find (right off the highway) but still secluded and quiet. There’s an LCBO and general store just down the road. The place itself was exactly as advertised - if not better. Open concept 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom lay out. Wifi was strong and we were able to check in with work while there. Bring your own food, cooking oils and paper towels. The host basically took care of the rest. Everything was labeled so it was very easy to navigate. The river is peaceful and quiet, good for a quick dive off the dock. We drove 3 mins out to the nearest beach for a day and it was nice. Spacious and clean bathrooms close by. Owner was very friendly, provided firewood and everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. Beaches, lakes, and so many trails near by walking distance.
