"The view was as advertised. However general condition of property was poor. Lots of flies when we arrived. TV didn’t work. Many electrical sockets had missing face plates. Generally neglected. Also, no toilet paper or kitchen tissue. Only positives were the view and the internet worked well."

"The guest house is a basic bedroom upstairs. You do have a shared shower downstairs and the beds are comfortable. There is a kitchen to prepare food with dishes and the shared living room offers a TV and couches. While we were there we met the Czech caretaker who was wonderful. The place is not as clean as other guest houses we stayed at in Iceland (which you could eat off the floor). It was a good deal in the right place at the right time. Location is good if you are near the West Fjord area. The town is small but has a grocery and a restaurant. Buy food at the grocery the night before for breakfast in the AM. There is nothing near the area once your leave town."
