“From the moment this was booked, it’s been a 5-star experience. The lodge was exactly what we needed to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and being so dog friendly really was a bonus. The small beach area was perfect for a shallow dip in the loch, and we were spoiled with pure sunshine during our stay. It’s the first time I’ve been to Scotland and not worn my hoody! “We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. Location is very convenient, too - just off the not overly busy A road and……

“This is a perfect lodge in a beautiful setting. Ideal for dogs with their own doggy paddock and open fields. On arrival, Lesley is there to meet ,and settle you in. Everything is thought of a real home from home with a cosy log burning stove to relax in front off ”

“We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove.”

“If you want a beautiful, quiet spot, right on the edge of Loch Lomond, then this is the place for you. It is quite remote other than the nearby hotel and the roads to get there are narrow, so not one for those wanting lots of nearby options for food drink (need to drive 20 mins).”

“Well laid out chalet park - lots of space and entertaining red squirrels. Next door to Puck's Glen, 15 minute walk to Benmore Gardens and many more lovely walks in area. The furthest we travelled were Toward and Ardentinny.”
