It was nice and quiet and well maintained. The AC is very old system and found it hard operating it until late night. It was going off regularly and getting cooling.

Charming standalone family run place with a history to stay at Mr. Rainier entrance. Excellent, friendly service. Note: it’s not a typical chain establishment.

Never saw the staff but checked in and out without issues. A place to stay after a long day of driving and hiking. I would NOT recommend the only place close by to eat called wildberry.

Great property with wonderful character. Less than a mile from park entrance. Each room unique. Wifi was good. Watched a couple of movies from DVD collection. The breakfast basket was really appreciated in the remote location (thank you Jim). This is not a standard hotel with front desk.

Property was wonderful! Clean and comfortable Very quiet. Gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Definitely would return if ever back in the area.

Great location, just outside of the park (you need a reservation to get into the park so plan ahead). You also should plan on getting in the park before 10 am or after 3pm or you'll be waiting in a huuuuge line. Lodge was nice and had DVD's to borrow which was fun, breakfast was a little sparse but good.

Good points: house designed chic, classic style, good room setting, mini park /pond surrounding, good environment. None good points: hot water system terrible, showroom water runs cool all night long, we had to take a cool water sickly bath.
