Ashikaga Vacation Packages
Ashikaga is situated approximately 65 miles (105 kilometers) north of Yokohama and 45 miles (72 kilometers) north of Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
Visitors commonly use Ashikaga as a springboard for further adventures. This popular region possesses an abundance of fascinating sights and attractions. While you are in the district, check out Ota. It's roughly 5 miles (8 kilometers) away from Ashikaga and is home to the Tenjin Yama and Daikoin Temple. If you'd like to experience more of this part of the country, travel to Sano to visit the Soshuji Yakuyoke Daishi Temple and Sano City Museum. Sano is 8 miles (13 kilometers) away.
If you're staying in Ashikaga, head to Nikko. Approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast, this regional city is home to Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine and Nikko Temple. If you're still looking for things to do in the city centre, be sure to check out Oze National Park, Toshogu and Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park before you return to Ashikaga.
Get familiar with Japanese and bond with the locals in Ashikaga. "Isshoni odorimasenka?" is the Japanese way to say "Would you like to dance with me?" Or try "Benjo wa doko desu ka?" (Where's the toilet?).
When it comes time to pack your bag and say "Sayōnara", you'll have heaps of great memories and photos.
