Beware…6-8 stair steps in entry foyer up to next floor to get to reception desk. Ok for short stays, but I would be sure not to get stuck with a room like what I was given again. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very small and semi-comfortable (a chair would have been nice). But staff is friendly (e.g., I received free bottles of water every day and a bottle of wine for a greeting) and helpful. Breakfast is ok. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are a bit shady, but I never felt unsafe.
