This is a small boutique hotel which is only one min walk to Monastiraki. The location is absolutely convenient. The room was nice and had enough amenities I needed. The hotel is very central with Monastiraki square just a 2 min walk. There is a main metro station there for access elsewhere. The hotel room was very spacious, very comfortable bed & great shower. There is a rooftop area with views towards the Acropolis. There is a further seated outside area on floor one as well. I have to mention Georgia from reception. She is very helpful & a genuinely lovely person. She arranged taxis for us to & from airport as our flights were arriving late / leaving early. She also made sure that although reception was closed when we arrived, we had clear simple instructions for access upon our arrival. We did not have breakfast but there is a kettle in the room and on floor one, there is a hot drink machine available all day or night. We loved our stay & hope to return in the future.

Georgia was absolutely an amazing host. The room was comfortable and we had no complaints! We loved the rooftop to see the Acropolis at sunset. Tip: get there early as the seats fill up. We easily walked to Plaka and enjoyed walking around looking at different historical buildings as well as the many shops.

Das Hotel liegt nahe der Metro-Station mit direkter Verbindung zum Flughafen und zentral in der City. Akropolis und die Museen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausgeh-Viertel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein sehr guter Standort um von dort die Stadt zu erkunden. Zimmer und Bad waren von komfortabler Größe und sehr sauber. Personal und Service sind sehr freundlich.

Very convenient room for our first few nights in Greece. We were able to walk to many major attractions, wonderful restaurants, and shopping. The staff members were helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful view of the city, including the Acropolis, from the roof deck, as well as from our room. The available breakfast was a nice add on, with excellent food and coffee. If you want to experience the city center of Athens, you can’t do better than this location.

This is a gem, I totally love this hotel, it's almost at the centre of town in Monastiraki, easily walkable to all the main attractions, the metro station and restaurants. The room is modern, big with great amenities. The staffs were amazing and helpful. This is a hotel I will definitely recommend to everyone who wants to visit Athens.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Athens 21. At first glance, the reception might surprise you, as it looks more like a small office desk with just one receptionist. But once you enter the rooms, you realize how spacious and comfortable they are. The shower was excellent, with great water pressure. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend requesting a room that is not facing the street, as it can get quite loud on that side. Breakfast is simple but filling — the menu is small and not a buffet, but it covers all the basics. I would especially like to highlight Spiros at reception — he was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. His assistance made our stay much smoother. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. Public transportation is nearby, including a hop-on hop-off bus stop just around the corner. There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops all around, and a grocery store is located directly across the street. Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with excellent service.
