I was made to feel that I was bothering the staff anytime I asked a question or anytime I needed something. I have an ESA and was constantly told contradictory information. I was told I could not leave him alone that he had to stay with me at all times then I was told that he could not come to the lobby/breakfast area. So I was denied breakfast for the last three days of my stay. I was going to have to stay for one more day and the manager said that I had to pay an extra nonrefundable $175 for that final day because he was not a service animal and just and ESA. Everywhere I have ever been with him have been very understanding and don't mind him at all. He is very well behaved and he does growl when my personal space is invaded or I am being threatened in any way. I am a victim of domestic violence, bipolar, agoraphobic, and have PTSD. So when the manager spoke to me in a hostile manner he growled and I had a panic attack in the lobby. They said they were calling the police. I found the wherewithal to exit the situation. I was told I had 30 mins to leave when checkout was not for another two hours. They finally said be out by 11 which was normal check out time. I had to pay for an Uber and other things that were unexpected because of this. First of all my ESA is cleaner than most people. He never goes to the restroom indoors. The only time this has happened is when he smells where another animal has gone. He has actually made himself sick because he refused to go indoors.
