The property is five mins to Matakana and Leigh and 10 mins to Omaha. Formally the property was a 1901 Post Office that serviced the wider area and is one of the original properties in the area. Not only does host, Kevin, go above and beyond in advice but his home is exceptionally clean and generously supplied with everything you need including upgraded amenities. The kitchen is well stocked, firewood piled high (indoor and outdoor), stacks of towels and even some starter nespresso pods and laundry detergent. The adults loved hitting golf balls into the harbor and picking them up at low tide. The kids enjoyed the swings, kayaks and water gear. EVERYONE loved the spa pool. Once you've stayed at this house, you will want to come back again and again. It is both easily accessible to local attractions (thanks for the great tips, Kevin) and it's a quiet beach haven all to yourself. The house has all modern amenities and comfortable large beds. The children all had a ball spending hours and hours on the private beach playing on the swings and sea toys.
