Independent nice flat fully renewed on 2012 in a Mediterranean style villa. One bedroom for two people, little dining room, kitchen and bathroom with shower. Ideal for a couple.The location is right for excursions to Siracusa and the'' famous area'' of Barocco di Noto and to Catania and Taormina. Quite area into a garden of lemon and olive trees. Only 400 meters from the sea by a pleasant walking tour. The nearest town is Augusta at only 3 kilometers, Syracuse at 30 km.

Villa Olive Tree: cozy, clean and Well kept.

Villa Olive tree was a cozy, clean and well kept apartment in July to make trips to Noto , Catania, Syracuse and Vindicari. The attentive hostess and peaceful environment made ​​this place with all the facilities a must! Marie-Jose & Jos (NL)

Olive Tree Villa was spacious, clean and well equipped in a good location for Eastern Sicily

We flew into Catarnia Airport about 40 minutes away from the apartment. We were given easy to follow instructions to find the apartment. On arrival we were welcomed and shown around the apartment which is very homely and given an array of locally produced gifts. The Apartment has many brochures and maps about the local areas and the owners recommended restaurants, supermarkets and places to visit. We could pick our own oranges and lemons from the garden. There was access to wi-fi. We would recommend a stay here for visits to Siracusa, Noto and Etna being just a few places within easy distances to travel.

Beautiful private apartment

We stayed here in our honeymoon. The host is fantastic. She is friendly and helpful and left little gifts for us. The apartment is above her home, but we had complete privacy. The accommodation is simple and tasteful with air con. Perfect for a couple. 2 balconies allow you to maximise on the sun all day should you wish to stay in. The local beaches are not sandy beaches, you have to travel for that. However you are on volcanic rock that dips right into the ocean. The sea is beautiful here. Many local supermarkets and beautiful fresh produce. Fine dining can be experienced in the evening. See Brucoli. It's a 40 min trip to Etna and 30 to the sandy beaches. There is a great local market on a Thursday morning for food and clothes. Watch out for the driving. If you are used to the UK, it may be good to get some practice on Mario-cart before you go!!! On a serious note, it is very hectic, so make sure you get all the extras on your car insurance when you hire it. We had 16 nights at this apartment and I was so sad to leave. Sicily is beautiful. Fantastic wines also, and I would definitely come back to explore this historical and geographically stunning island more. I can't thank Vittorina enough for her great communication during the booking process, her welcome and her expert hosting skills during our stay. Thank you
