Beautiful building, gorgeous decor, warm and wonderful inn-keepers, fantastic breakfast, huge room, warm welcome, great history in the building, sat on the porch with a good book and a glass of wine =heaven! It was a great value in a hide-a-way town and a great place to relax in an elegant setting.

The hotel itself is old and in need of a total renovation!! The staff, however are top notch. Friendly and helpful, always smiling and making you feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet included homemade banana fritters, nice touch. The location couldn't be better, park the car and walk to all the shops and restaurants you could want!!

Check-in was easy, the main room was pretty clean. The bathroom was a little old looking and had scuffs, stains, etc, but was clean otherwise. The fridge did not work, but didn't ruin my stay there.
The complimentary breakfast was pretty tasty. I had scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and a biscuit. The coffee wasn't 5-star, but it was good. I didn't recall getting a breakfast ticket but all they had to do was look me up.
For what I paid, this was a very good experience. If I wanted a perfect hotel experience, I would have gotten a room at a Hilton Garden Inn. I didn't feel like paying that much.

Not fancy, but very clean and welcoming when fleeing from a hurricane. Every person with whom I interacted was so gracious and helpful. I had to delay my arrival date and then extended my departure twice. Every time they worked hard to accomodate me.

This is close to hospital and most major shopping areas for this side of Aiken. It is however also close to the route to the hospital, so you will get to hear the emergency vehicles a lot. The staff was friendly and they had a limited breakfest. It is not your top of line hotels. It is what they tell you...economy...I did feel safe. Very well lighted. Across the street from Walmart.
