Your first step in is the living room to unwind after a day of exploring on a plush couch and widescreen TV with plenty of channels. Either have fun making meals in this well-equipped kitchen with artistic touches that makes you feel at home or pouring yourself an ice cold lemonade and retiring to the hanging chairs on the patio. Backyard BBQ & fire pit. The space This cottage has a nice flow from when you walk in the front door you can see the living room and kitchen with line of sight to the bathroom. When you get to the hallway you can look left and then right to see the bedrooms. The desk and chair is a great place to get your work done and then close it up when you're done. Wifi is important and easily supports your video conference calls. The patio has an inviting feel of lounging and people watching as the dog walkers and families walk by. This place is set up to bring people together and connect with one another. Our place is in the back separated by a fence and a private driveway. You'll have plenty of privacy. Any Texan will tell you the best BBQ in town is your own. :) We have a new BBQ ready for you to show off your Backyard Chef skills! At sunset it's time to light the fire pit for stories and S'mores around the camp fire. Guest access Enjoy your own front yard and backyard during your stay. The kitchen has all the cooking accessories you could imagine. In unit laundry is available. The gravel drive way is available to you where you can fit two cars tandem. Other things to note Tax Rates The City of Austin's Hotel Occupancy Tax rate is 11 percent, comprised of a 9 percent occupancy tax and an additional 2 percent venue project tax. Texas law requires that each bill or other receipt for a hotel charge subject to the tax imposed for a venue project contain a statement in a conspicuous location stating: "The City of Austin requires that an additional tax of two percent (2%) be imposed on each hotel charge for the purpose of financing a venue project." The City’s tax is in addition to the 6 percent rate imposed by the State of Texas, which must be remitted separately to the State.
