I reached out to the host on our final night regarding the issues below. They took no responsibility but offered to refund a portion of the rental ONLY if I left a 5-star review for the stay. Keep the money — here is an honest review.Day 1: We contacted the host because there was no water pressure when using hot water. They acted surprised and told us to monitor it.Day 2: We reached out again and were told someone would be sent out. Later that day, a person came by to change the batteries in the door lock and mentioned that the water issue was a city-wide, ongoing problem.Day 3: When we returned to the house, a man poked his head out of the front door to let us know he was there to look at the water (no vehicle was parked nearby). He had tape covering the logo on his shirt and explained that he has been to this house multiple times. According to him, they already have a quote to fix the issue, but the property owner has not authorized the work. He said he hides his company logo and parks around the corner because he doesn’t want his company associated with the property. His advice to us: take cold showers.With barely any functioning hot water, I doubt anything in this house was properly cleaned. We ran the dishwasher four times with the same load, and the dishes were still dirty — and yes, they were pre-rinsed.The pool company showed up on Day 3 and said they hadn’t been called out in months. He spent three hours cleaning the pool.DO NOT BOOK.
