For almost $200 a night, I expected more from this place. The room was nice, but there was no microwave or mini fridge and the TV was basic. I like the character of the bathroom, but the tile grout was dirty and the one towel hook was about to come off. The staff was nice, but never at the front ...

Pura Vida is an incredible home right on the Catuga Lake. The cottage is well stocked. The dock and porch were excellent for views of the lake. Don and Michele were great hosts and very communicative. The two night stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

This was home base for us as we explored the Finger Lakes, Seneca Falls, Harriet Tubman museum in Auburn, Glenn Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, Watkins Glen. So much to enjoy. Clean unit, comfortable beds. The owner came to see how we were doing.
