“I had a 2 week stay at this Hotel in August 2026. Family of 4 including a 8 and 3 year old. Location is good as you are close to highways, beaches and the best city in my opinion (Aveiro). We had a suite. Upon Arrival the A/C was not working well. After 2 requests, we where moved to a new room the same day which was a upgrade. That was appreciated. Front desk staff was very friendly. The turn over service was hit or miss. Half the time the room was cleaned properly, toiletries where sometimes……
“We loved this lovingly restored old mercantile/home before we even walked in the door. The owner maintained all the original beauty and characteristics. He even arranged for a local restaurant to make the one meal we love and hadn’t been able to find. Breakfast was absolutely lovely surrounded by so much history.”
“Ons verblijf (6nachten) is erg goed bevallen. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en denken graag met je mee als je iets in de buurt wilt ondernemen. Het verblijf is schoon en goed onderhouden. Slechts 2 jaar geleden totaal gerenoveerd. Er is een heerlijk zoutwater zwembad en een riant dakterras. Iedere dag een lekker ontbijt in de tuin met een huisgemaakte cake of iets anders lekkers en een Pastel de nata. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk! Aanrader om te bezoeken daar in de buurt zijn Aveiro, Coimbra……
“We stayed in the Vintage Family Room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The lake view was beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The room itself was large, although the property feels a little dated and could benefit from some updates, especially replacing the carpets in the hallways and rooms.
Unfortunately, because of the rainy weather, we weren’t able to use the outdoor pool. The indoor pool required swimming caps, which we didn’t have with us, and the reception……
