  • A beautiful Country home with 3 large bedrooms and all the comforts of home. Featuring wood fire, gas central heating and 3 split systems for all year comfort. Come and enjoy a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Hike the track next door into the lovely Australian bush. Bring your mountain bikes or walk your dog. 5 minute walk into town where you will find many cafes, the famous Avoca Hotel.Our silo tour starts here in Avoca!
    Sit in our screened verandah and enjoy a cuppa or a glass of the famous Pyrenees wine the region is renowned for.
    Fully fenced backyard.
    Please no dogs on furniture or beds!

    Very suitable for disabled guests with ramp to front door, walk in shower and hand rails at toilet.
    Wheelchair friendly


    Full sized kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer and wall oven.

    Light breakfast provided consisting of cereals, teas, coffee, bread , butter and milk.

    Warm yourself by our wood heater, ( wood supplied) split system or gas central heating .
    Split systems and ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms. Queen bed in each of two bedrooms and two king singles in third bedroom. All have electric blankets.

    Smart Tv in lounge with NBN broadband WIFI.
    TV’s in 2 bedrooms.

    Tour our famous wineries or visit the Grampians for the day. Only 75 minutes away. Ballarat is 45 minutes with Maryborough 20 and Ararat 45 .

This was a cosy (as the name suggests) cottage .Everything was very clean and comfortable . Ee really enjoyed oyr stay. Our fur baby didnt end up coming this time but it would have been perfect for her too.

Excellent location (we walked into town multiple times), the space was great for both our toddler and our dog, and the adults had a great time too! Wonderful communication from Deb throughout our stay.

A weekend in Avoca

A very comfortable and well set up property. Close to shops and other amenities. Plenty to do in the area, from wineries to walking. Excellent food at the local Hotel.

Relaxing countryside cottage

We stayed over Xmas and had a wonderful relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We explored nearby towns and parks.

Wonderful house and views

My parents and i loved staying here. The house was perfect, the views and sunsets gorgeous, and Avoca is a lovely little town to stay in. Highly recommend.

Well presented, very comfortable with easy access to front and back yard. Close to main shops, only 12 minute walk from property and also nice and quiet. We would stay their again.

Relaxing stay

Mum and I had a great stay. The house is in a peaceful location, though you are close enough to town. The house has everything you need and more. Thanks Deb, we enjoyed our time away exploring the Pyrenees region.

Thoughtful owner with every conceivable amenity. Even the fridge was full of goodies. The back enclosed verandah was wonderful for our pets.The bush at the rear was perfect for a dog walk. Very safe and secure overall. The view towards the mountains from the elevated street was beautiful. The closeness of shops and eateries was great.Did we say we’d be back? You bet.

Country Cottage

Fantastic home away from home. Very quiet location (even on new year's eve). Plenty to do and see in Avoca as well as the surrounding towns. We enjoyed our time very much and plan to visit again soon. Thankyou to the host for looking after us. prior and throughout our stay.

This was an outstanding property, beautifully presented with all the necessary conveniences thoughtfully provided.On arrival, small details such as bread, milk, butter and chocolate were provided in the fridge.The house was well heated and the beds extremely comfortable. Everything was at hand to make our stay very enjoyable and memorable.We stayed for three nights and found lots to enjoy in the town and surrounding areas. The cottage is ideally located about 600 metres from the centre of town and is central to all amenities.Deb, the host, communicates brilliantly, quickly and most effectively.Our 10 month old Groodle puppy really enjoyed walking and playing in the area.This property is extremely good value for money and I would return in a heartbeat!!Peter, Julie (and Murphy)

Lovely Cottage with all you need for daily living .

Enjoyed our week.....was like staying with our Grandparents with all aged care amenities.......all needed provided...next time will take our own doona....definitely coming back....beautiful native birds singing night and day....recommended to all that love the bush......poodle loved the fire.....xx.....just do your shopping in Maryborough....but bestest butcher in Avoca..
