“If you are looking for a unconventional place to unplug and unwind, the Cheese Wedge Cabin is a charming getway. Etienne is a lovely host who made us feel welcome and comfortable on her farm. We got up close and personal with the sheep, chickens, and Phoenix the sheepdog (who is the gentlest giant and steadfast companion). “A bit difficult to find the place due to it being a second story entrance of a large brick building, not a home. Very roomy inside. Lots of towels provided.For those of us with smell sensitivity, the plug-in air fresheners were overpowering. Bed was very comfortable. We had a tornado warning during our stay but no provisions for taking cover while on the second floor. Also, we had a large bat flying around the living room around 10pm, which my husband caught and released out the fire exit door.”
