“The staff/ owners did not speak English but made great efforts and the little Romanian we learned trying to prepare for our trip got us by. They were gracious hosts. The room was clean and comfortable although the bed was a bit hard for me. The food and wine were superb! Multumesc Pensiunea Rhein”

“This is a sweet alpine hotel set atop the hill of Sinaia. The rooms are large, and it is worth the extra to get a room with a balcony to sit outside beneath the pine forest; and some rooms have a view of the valley. Modern bathrooms and showers, coffee and kettle. Overall fairly quiet on a summer weeknight. Staff is very helpful, allowing me to check in as I arrived early, and the free breakfast was very good with traditional cheeses, meats, eggs, veggies. croissants and pastries. Expect to do a……
