"shower drain backed water in not good"

"The service was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. Beautiful view and the pool was perfect size to just get wet and cool off. The restaurant was excellent as was the food.. The property is quite far from most things but is very quiet and peaceful.. please be aware there is no beach front. The resort is on a cliff. You will need to take transport to the beaches near by at other resorts. Things I would take note of that would have made me give 5 stars. 1. Any needs you have using a driver there is a service fee. I did not mind paying for the service as it was excellent. However it was not made clear that there was a service fee for any transport needs you may have during your stay. It was offered at every turn that our driver can take you wherever you need to go. But no mention of a fee much less how much the fee would be. How is the fee calculated? 2. The sun is very strong in the first half of the day, making the restaurant not very comfortable to sit and eat in.. maybe some blinds or sheer curtains as you have in the room to cut down on the blinding light. 3. The private pool is not so private as you can see them from the restaurant with no problem. Extending the tarps that are currently hung above the patio/pool area would ensure that you are not swimming with anyone from above looking down on you.. as the vibe is a couples resort.. Thank you Ariel, Stanley, JR and the staff you are all wonderful at your jobs. It is all of you that made our stay wonderful."

"It’s a matter of preference and perspective. The province was a cultural shock so the residential area of the guesthouse came also as a shock. I’ve only really experienced American B&B’s, Inns, Motels, and Hotels so this was out of my wheelhouse. But that’s me. I can see it would appeal to many others for authenticity, grandeur, fantastic views, local staff and amazing budget friendly! The owner herself is very admirable and what and how she was able to accomplish the concept and realization of the guesthouse. I had specifically chosen this guesthouse because of its proximity to two churches I wanted to visit. It is also way out of the tourist area and part of the local community."

"The house is nice, modern, but the shower, are not design for tall people. The caretakers are very attentive and helpful. The house is hard to find since VRBO did not gives us proper description. We would stay again since we know how to get there…"
