Mannin Bay in west Connemara has a large number of small beautifully isolated beaches. The sand is comprised not of quartz, as is usual, but of coral fragments. This gives the sand its special white colour. There are many beaches here, and few tourists. On a sunny day you can find a beach that you can claim as your own. #beach
