“We had a great stay at Family Batcave Homestay. It felt like a more authentic experience. Our host was lovely. He gave us a tour with his wife, or he organized for us to visit a variety of sites in and around Battambang. Plus, the food was great. I highly recommend it. ”

“First and foremost the staff members are very attentive and caring about delivering a great customer experience. The resort is however a little tired and could benefit from some upgrade. Rooms are large and clean but the AC is pretty poor. Food is ok. Location is fine if interested to be in the outskirts of Battambang. It takes about 20-25 mins to go downtown. It is fairly quiet although there was some pretty loud music being played at 5am. Would recommend but be aware of the current state……

“Hotel is just like a good three star hotel should be. Pool, gym equipment (outdoor, but this is Cambodia), and rooms clean and effective. It's not exactly modern, but most of the outlets are in the room I stayed in. Decent WiFi speed too. Of note, you cannot reserve rooms online anymore. Good that I found this on Expedia, but the reservation didn't carry over.”

“Peaceful, in nature, the property was perfect for me. The family was welcoming and helpful, the home cooked meals excellent, flavourful and great value...I loved the coffee too! My bungalow was spacious and had everything I needed..( electrical outlets, lights, ceiling fan and even WiFi! Simple life at its best.”

“The pool was closed off for a meeting however this was all throughout our trip. Nobody was in this area when we went to the pool and we were not allowed to use this. Communication was poor and all items needed to be asked about nothing was in the room I.e shampoo, toilet roll etc. Location is further out from city but short TukTuk ride away. Ac was not working as we had incorrect remote in room and the fridge was dirty and turned off without key in room. ”

“It was a beautiful place and the owner was an amazing host! Highly recommend for those that want a place not too far from the city but still within the beautiful natural landscape side.”

“Clean, safe, and very comfortable stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was amazing and everything was well maintained. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again.”

“A new hotel means everything was new. Shower was good, huge bathtub was a plus. Smell from drainage needs to be taken care of. Breakfast was ok but not great. Staff members were very attentive and went great lengths to help.”

“Staff were great! Living areas were clean. But they had renovations going on. Relaxing by the pool was difficult when you have to listen to tile cutting with dust blowing everywhere between 9-5 everyday. Pools were not very clean(possibly dusty) Not being allowed to bring your own drinks into your room is on odd unwelcome rule also.”

“The room was spotless and spacious. We love the double sink in the bathroom. Love the enclose shower from the wet toilet. We love the fresh linen smell 😍❤️ The staff were friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast area and in the rooftop bar treated my husband and I like royalties. The food were delicious ❤️ We highly recommend and definitely going back there for our future trip. ”

“I booked 2 double rooms but hotel prepared 2 twin rooms to us. Room size not big but reasonable. 15 mins walk to night market. My colleagues walk-in rate is cheaper then I book online.”

“The sausage that came with the western breakfast was rancid. Did not use hotel restaurant for the remainder of the stay, including the breakfast. The air conditioner was fine but the total lack of construction insulation kept the room warm. Daylight can be seen coming thru the roof. The floor tile is scarred worn. No value here 😢 ”
