“We had a great stay at Family Batcave Homestay. It felt like a more authentic experience. Our host was lovely. He gave us a tour with his wife, or he organized for us to visit a variety of sites in and around Battambang. Plus, the food was great. I highly recommend it. ”

“Arrived to zero welcome after a six hour journey from Phnom Penh, tepid bottled water to drink, aircon struggling, no fridge and a power outage within half hour of arrival was enough to convince us to walk back to the main road ( as transport options were also zero). After a lengthy time trying to secure a tuk tuk back to town, bear in mind no drivers are wiling to come out to this address, we eventually made it back to Battambang and booked into a city hotel. Much relief 😅 but had to forfeit……

“A new hotel means everything was new. Shower was good, huge bathtub was a plus. Smell from drainage needs to be taken care of. Breakfast was ok but not great. Staff members were very attentive and went great lengths to help.”
