Still amazing! Great updates and superb food! It had been a few years since our last stay at Hotel Mayan Princess, and we couldn't be happier with our return. The recent renovations look fantastic, and the entire property is extremely well-maintained and beautiful. A special thanks to the staff (particularly Jenn) for being so warm and helpful throughout our stay. To top it all off, the food was spectacular, just as I remembered! Can't wait to visit again.

Loved this property. Very attentive, happy, friendly staff. The layout and construction of the property itself is very lush and beautiful. Very comfortable. During our first night, we had a leak from the ceiling in our room due to heavy rains and the next morning, we were quickly relocated and comped breakfast for the weekend for our inconvenience. We appreciated the professional and quick response to the situation. We had a very good meal of beet salad and zucchini pasta with chicken for dinner. craft cocktails at beach bar were excellent. The sunset champagne and morning coffee/tea bar with banana bread were nice touches. Breakfast meals were well-prepared and delicious. A few suggestions for minor improvements: *A trashcan with a lid in the bathroom due to environmental concerns with toilet paper. *A small fan in the bathroom to help with ventilation since the air-conditioning unit did not blow into the bathroom. *A hot tub or slightly heated pool for evenings and rainy days. *No smoking, indoor or out, on the entire property would be nice. *Asking guests not to blast their personal music from personal speakers in outside shared areas. *There’s no seating in the junior beachfront suite. *A small chair or small setee would be helpful. *Playing the peaceful music that is in the restaurant throughout the whole property.
