“Wonderful lodge on a hill with a great view and outdoor seating area with well maintained garden. Our room was clean and comfortable. The lodge is great for people driving through Ireland. Parking was easy and convenient. Dinner in the bar/restaurant was delightful.”
“While we were staying here, the hotel had a private party with a live band on the ground floor. The party went into the wee hours, and it was right below our room. It sounded like the band was in the room with us. We heard and felt every vocal, every drum beat, every guitar riff. Those rooms should have been blocked off so that no one would have to experience that. It was miserable. We asked for a room change, but the hotel was booked, so we were stuck with it. “The hotel was clean but we stayed 6 nights and the bedsheets were not changed once even when they got dirty. Also the floors of the room were not cleaned very well. The stay was comfortable and the staff lovely but the walls are quite thin and so we could hear the person in the next room coughing and snoring,”
