If you want an amazing view this is your place! We watched the sunsets every night from the private balcony with a glass of wine ! Very clean and has everything you need. The location is perfect for Boone,Blowing Rock and Banner Elk . Denise the owner was very responsive to one concern we had and it was resolved very quickly. I would definitely rent this unit again.

This was our first time using Vrbo and it was a wonderful experience. The condo exceeded our expectations! Everyone there was very friendly. We explored the area each day and used the pool/hot tub each evening but made a point to be back at the condo to watch the sunset. The view is spectacular! One evening there were storms in the distance, and we had a lightning show. If we choose to go to this area again, we will definitely stay here!

Very comfortable

Extremely comfortable and relaxing. The area is beautiful. The pool was nice and relaxing. Our teen son enjoyed the gym. A couple of fun spots for kids are the Alpine coaster, park in banner elk that has a little running creek, Blowing Rock (cost efficient, easy, ADA approved), and drive down Blue Ridge Parkway and stop at the pull offs. Puerto Neuvo Restaurant was fabulous & so good. Thank you for hosting your beautiful condo.

Family Mountain Getaway

We loved Denise's place at Sugar Top! Not only is the view breathtaking, but the condo was super clean and comfortable. The trendle bed ended up coming in handy for our 2- year old that hasn't quite transitioned out of a crib, and our daughter loved the top bunk. The indoor pool was also a big hit. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to both Tweetsie Railroad and the Linville Caverns. We definitely hope to be and to stay again sometime!

The property offers a perfect view of the mountains and an even better location to get to all the local attractions. Would recommend to anyone looking visit Sugar Mountain and/or Grandfather Mountain.

Wonderful trip!

We had a great trip to Banner Elk made much better by our stay at Sugar top. The views of the mountains and the slopes and the pool for the kids were perfect. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to eat, sleep, and relax! Will def consider staying there again on our next trip to BE. Thank you!!

Beautiful Views

This was an amazing accommodation! The views were spectacular and the amenities were perfect for my little family. The shuttle service was easy to maneuver. The best part of this booking was by far the amazing correspondence and guidance I recieved from the hosts. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful condo.

Beautiful time in Banner Elk!

Our entire group (50's, 20's, and small children) all enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, great hiking and sightseeing, small-town 4th of July parade and fireworks (from our balcony), and the pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. Great communication with the host provided an extra level of comfort and information. We will be back!

Another great stay

Second time staying at this condo, and it didn't let us down. The kids enjoyed the pool in the evenings, as well as the bunk beds. The owner was quick to respond to us. Will be back!

Views for miles

This is such a gem of a location. We had a wonderful time and loved watching the sunset from the balcony. Such a roomy condo and fabulous location. We had a great time celebrating our girls finishing 2nd grade and kindergarten. Plenty to do in the area no matter the time of year.

Great Views

We loved every minute of our stay in the Sugar Top condo! We had everything we needed for an easy vacation! Denise was wonderful to work with and had great communication before and during our stay! Our favorite part of the condo was the amazing view of the ski slopes! We loved watching the skiers each day

38th wedding anniversary

We will definitely go back! The condo was very clean, spacious, and well equipped with everything we needed. People at the resort was very friendly but the owners of the condo are fabulous!!!! They are very easy to get in touch with and thoughtful. The views are amazing. We definitely give it a 5 star!!!

Denise, the owner goes way out of her way to make sure you stay is top notch! Great communication and very thorough with instructions. She was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. The place itself was extremely clean and had everything you need. The view was to die for!!! We will definitely be back

Amazing Christmas getaway

The condo has spectacular views and a cozy at home feeling. It is the closest room to the elevator on the 8th floor and it has a stelar view of the ski slopes at Sugar Mountain ski resort and the panoramic views of the NC mountains. The hosts are super friendly, extremely kind, and had excellent communications before the trip and checked in during just to make sure that we had everything we needed. From start to finish it was just an amazing experience. The living room was decorated for Christmas and it made our kids day. It was a 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely be going back.

Wonder day of skiing

We had a wonderful stay and plan to return soon. At check in, there was only one key. Denise quickly had another key made for us. She made our stay very enjoyable by giving attention to details overlooked by other places we have stayed. I highly recommend this condo. It was also great to just take the shuttle bus to and from the front door of Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Shuttle buses run often and this was so nice.

Perfect location for a family getaway

We visited with our family of 5 to ski Sugar. This was a great location. We opted to get a locker at the ski resort to store our things and drove down each day. Denise was correct, an all wheel drive car is definitely needed as we got ice and snow all night making the road down the mountain a bit dicey the next morning. The property did a great job of salting the roads however. The condo is clean, had all the items we needed in the kitchen and we also appreciated having the washer/dryer in the unit. We highly recommend this for your next stay!

This place was pretty awesome. There were 7 of us total that stayed 4 nights. Kitchen was plenty stocked with dishes and silverware. Having a washer and dryer in the room was really nice (especially if you’re a light packer like me). There is a food lion just down the road to get groceries. Kids loved the pool. The staff were super friendly. Easy to check in and out. Amazing views from the balcony. And for the price...you just couldn’t beat it. Very close to the blue ridge scenic parkway. And only 30min from closest Bojangles to get your “chicken biscuit” fix.

Sugar top resort

We had a wonderful stay at this condo at sugar top. The views are spectacular! I love that we had enough sleeping for our whole family and comfortable beds. Denise is so friendly and quick to respond! I have never rented from someone so kind. My kids love the pool and hot tub in the afternoons after a long day of skiing. The shuttles make it easy to get up and down the mountain and they are quick to pick you up. We did learn that they only run after 4:30 on Fridays. Not a huge deal, just an FYI.. Overall, I do recommend a condo and this unit.

Lovely condo with gorgeous views in Sugar Top Resort

This condo is lovely, spacious, and clean. The beds have soft memory foam mattresses for a very comfortable sleep. It has beautiful views from the 8th floor onto Sugar Mountain ski slopes. Located close to the elevator, it is a short walk to it. The resort has a pool, hot tubs, a gym, a steam room, and a sauna. There are luggage carts and shopping carts to bring everything upstairs. We went in early November and could park at the top. We woke up to ice and snow and were happy to find the main road down the mountain salted. The owner made sure to share a ton of information beforehand and to check on us after we checked in. Overall extremely satisfied with this condo.

Fantastic views, modern and cozy space.

Where to begin, it was our first snowboarding trip in years, randomly booked a spot, and off we went. Little did I know, we booked an awesome place. We drove up in the rain and fog, the rain kept us off the slopes in the afternoon, luckily Denise is easy to reach and we asked to check in early to settle in before hitting the night session at sugar mountain. Finally arriving, it was very windy and foggy, but I just knew there was a good view beyond the deep fog. The next morning we finally got the full picture of where we had landed.We spent the next 2 days snowboarding and fly fishing in absolute bliss. We needed that refreshing vacation, all topped off with a mile high view and a cozy place to cook dinner and rest. We had so much fun I forgot my rain gear in the closet, Denise was happy to ship them back to us! Truly grateful for the whole experience, we will be back!

Our first time to stay at Sugar mountain, and we loved it! We highly recommend this place! The hosts are amazing! The property is beautiful on the inside and their location has the best Mountain Views! We enjoyed the pool, sauna, weight room and whirlpool! We will be back!

Sugar Mountain

The property is located in a building. The special thing about the building is its location. Located on the very top of Sugar Mountain (5k miles elevation), it’s impossible not to spot the building, which makes it even better to be in the property. You’re given everything needed to have a proper stay with all necessary accommodations. The view is especially breathtaking; even just being on the very ground level of the building is amazing. The staff is above and beyond! A very amazing team, I felt very welcomed. My favorite part was all the attractions around. I had a very fantastic time.
