Baogaizhen Vacation Packages
From Baogaizhen, the well-known city of Xiamen is approximately 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the southwest.
To understand why so many travelers keep choosing Fujian as a vacation destination, ensure you and your companions see a bit more of the wider region. Hui'an, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southwest, and Dadeng, 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northeast of Baogaizhen are worth a visit too.
Organize some transportation and spend half a day in Quanzhou, a retail and transport hub for the region, situated some 9 miles (14 kilometers) from Baogaizhen. The city offers a wide range of attractions, such as Kaiyuan Temple, Tea Market and Anxi Fengshan Park. Zhenguo Tower, Chinese Tea Plaza and Zhan Dunren Memorial are also worth a visit before heading back to Baogaizhen.
If the sun is shining, head outdoors to experience Fujian's gardens.
The area around Baogaizhen offers some great options for those with an affinity for water. Rafting and swimming are just two of the ways to have fun upon the water here.
Maybe one of the greatest compliments you can pay to locals you'll encounter in your travels is to go to the trouble of memorizing a few common words and phrases. Why not try "Nǐ yào bú yào gēn wǒ tiàowǔ" This is the Mandarin way to say "Would you like todance with me?" "Zhèiwèi xiānsheng huì qīngdān" translates to "This gentleman/lady will pay for everything"
As you conclude your stay, pack your baggage and bid China a fond Zàijiàn (farewell).
