Wonderful charming property in a very special setting overlooking the water. We stayed in the Jasmine room with a pretty balcony and seats to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. We also enjoyed a very tasty breakfast served on the outdoor porch. Great recommendations from our host on places to visit and eat

We absolutely loved our stay at Acadia Bay Inn. Matt and Nicole were fantastic hosts, the bed was comfy, the room was very clean, and we loved our time on the balcony. It is also a great location as far as getting to Acadia National Park or back towards Ellsworth and Deer Isle. We highly recommend this lovely place for a sweet time away!

Wonderfully charming B&B with a beautiful waterfront view, gracious hosts and spacious rooms! Delicious breakfast in the dining area and covered porch for evening wine watching the boats come in. Highly recommend and hope to be back for another visit soon!

After the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, I was looking for a Calm peaceful place and this is it. All you need to do is walk out to the deck and expansive view of Acadia Bay will leave you breathless. The Inn is charming, like walking into someone’s living room. Get it about it.

The hosts at Acadia Bay Inn are so gracious and personable with excellent suggestions and tips for seeing the area. The breakfasts were gourmet! And the homemade cookies every evening along with the morning homemade biscotti were the best I’ve ever had. My “Blue Sunset” cocktail was memorable as well! Above all of this, the view is the best I’ve experienced anywhere! Peaceful and beautiful!

Matt and Nicole are great. Love how they continue to serve others and offer such a wonderful experience. Fresh coffee, a gourmet breakfast and loved the fresh towels, that was a pleasant surprise. We loved exploring Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Lots to do! The Inn is just as pictured and we highly recommend Acadia Bay Inn!

This hotel is perfect if you're looking for peace of mind. Matt and Nicole are the perfect hosts. They treat you like family and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was phenomenal and different from regular hotels. Jasmine bedroom is very spacious with a ocean view and balcony. Definitely this is the place to stay.

Beautiful Inn

Beautiful Inn and location. View was awesome. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Make sure to visit tidal falls at high and low tide, very close to the inn. Host did give us some suggestions to visit that were beautiful.

Acadia Bay Inn is a peaceful oasis away from the crowds of Bar Harbor and many top attractions of Mount Desert Island. The Inn is warm, inviting, spacious and impeccably clean. Host Nicole and Matt are friendly, gracious, and very helpful in providing suggestions on activities and restaurants. Nicole creates delicious, beautiful breakfasts and afternoon snacks and Matt is a thoughtful server. We stayed in Jasmine and it was wonderful! More spacious than the online photos capture, we had lots of room, incredible views, and very comfy furniture both inside and on our private deck. The only mistake you can make is not booking enough nights. There is so much to do and see on both MDI and the Schoodic Peninsula, be sure to leave yourself enough down time to truly enjoy this wonderful inn.
