Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, Chris the Innkeeper was welcoming and accommodating. Our room was quiet and private on the second floor. We loved having the detached bathroom. We came a week before ‘peak’ season but everything was open and didn’t have to pay to park anywhere. Less people as well. We are already talking about going in the fall. Worth the money and the drive!!

Perfect location! Breakfast was amazing every day. Chris made it a point to talk to you and make you feel at home. He was helpful in making suggestions on things to do or where to eat. Highly recommend this place.

Best in Bar Harbor! The inn and cottages are beautifully decorated and thoroughly cleaned. Wonderful location, just a short walk away from all downtown has to offer while still being quiet at night. Gourmet breakfast was delicious and unique each day. Innkeeper Chris and staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to Sand Bar Inn!
