This is a great location and nice facilities. There were a few bumps in the process, but that is expected with a newer property. These seemed to be related more to the fact that we booked through Expedia instead of the property. The staff was extremely helpful in sorting it out and helping us feel comfortable.

Pleasant memories of a hotel by the sea

Very comfortable hotel right on the beach. Amazing views of the sea and mountains from the room. Free beach for hotel residents. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Sea water pool for children. At first, we settled in a very old room, but at our request, they found another one, which we were very pleased with. There is only one drawback: there is no elevator :) The administration responded very quickly and promptly to any requests. Thanks to all! Special thanks to Ivanna!

Great location & quite compact

Nicely looking hotel in a nice location a little tricky to drive to and from in very narrow streets with only room for one car a lot of the way. Friendly receptionist although fairly slow check-in and not there to open the gate one evening to get the car in. Extremely crowded parking space with cars blocking each other at times. Decent looking room with ok space although very compact bathroom. It was clean but there what appeared to be smeared mosquitos/ blood stains here and there on the otherwise white walls. Very small saltwater pool which was very crowded. The reception takes credit card but not the bar. And I didn't come across any restaurant at the hotel. Plenty bars and hotels just around The corner though. Close to a lively street but not any issues with noise from that in our room. Just between two minute beaches with sunbeds and they have sunbeds Infront of the hotel, which you are automatically charged €15 per person for as a resort fee, so be ready for some extra charges.

Forget this place if you want a good holiday!

This place is awful. They confirmed the booking. I was not supposed to re-confirm. However, I sent them a text at 8pm that I would arrive at 9pm as a courtesy. The owner responded at 8.36pm that he sold my room because the check-in was until 8pm. The reception hours are until 10pm by the booking site! The receptionist was rude and very unpolitely stated that they had no more rooms. Obviously they sold my room for more money. Do not trust this place! I ended up running around town at 9pm with 2 small kids to find a room to sleep. They do not take credit card, no parking, and very difficult to find and approach. Avoid it

Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe, Rezeption absolut unfreundlich. Kaum hatten wir eingecheckt, wurden wir ins NEBENGEBÄUDE verfrachtet, 3. Stock ohne Lift (wir mit 2 Kindern und Kinderwagen). Das Zimmer war eine absolute Katastrophe, es hat aus dem Bad extrem nach Urin/Stuhl gestunken. Wir haben unsere Sachen gepackt und haben direkt ausgecheckt, da dies eine absolute Zumutung war. Balkon noch dazu direkt teilen mit den Zimmernachbarn. Pool und Poolplatz war dreckig und klein. Lasst euch von den Bildern nicht täuschen! Es gab keine Refundierung, obwohl wir direkt nachdem wir das Zimmer gesehen haben wieder ausgecheckt haben. Rezeption schreibt per Viber mit dem "Manager", das auch eine Privatkonversation hätte sein können. Manager lässt sich nicht blicken. Arrogante Rezeptionistin, also sowas hab ich bisher noch NIE erlebt. NIE wieder geh ich dahin und rate allen anderen es auch sein zu lassen.

Dont waste your money by staying in this place!

This hotel made some nice pictures of some specific rooms but the reality is when you check-in, the given room is not similar at all to any of the figures. Basically you pay for something that is not even listed!

Badeferie i Dobre Vode

Dejligt sted. Personalet var meget flinke og imødekommende. Vi boede nærmest ved poolen og havde en flot udsigt over både hav og land. Vi havde bestilt resortpakke og alt andet ville have krævet en masse daglige tilkøb. Internet/Wifi forbindelse var nærmest en tilfældighed, Wifi virkede fx.ikke på vores værelse. Placering: lige syd for Bar, med gode busforbindelse. Det er et turiststed og du skal væk fra Dobre Vode, hvis du vil opleve andet end bade- og afslapningsferie. Den er en stenstrand som ikke er egnet til de helt små børn, hvor imod poolen er ideel til familier med mindre børn.

Ok hotell. Fin plassering på stranden.

Vi fikk rom ved bassengkanten. Aircondition uten sånn nøkkelkortmas så den kunne stå på hele tiden... Perfekt romplassering med to barn som bader hele dagen. Bassenget er sjøvann som pumpes opp fra havet og tror ikke det renses. Det burde nok byttes hver dag, men da vi var der tok det fem (!) Dager før det ble byttet. Da var det veldig skittent. Vi orka ikke bade I vannet etter et par dager. Det var ikke lett å finne buss fra tivat til dobre vode men vi ble hentet av en I familien til de som eide hotellet for €50. Det passet oss veldig bra. Anbefales! Stranda er fin og kun få meter unna. De strandstolene er dyre å leie, men gjelder stort sett alle strender.

Appartement ok de rest niet.

Hallo, Ik heb vierpersoons appartement geboekt.Eerste dag een tweepersoons appartement(kamer 20m2)gekregen met wat extra bedden,verschrikkelijk.We konden een andere appartement kiezen als de andere gasten vertrekken,dat was dag later.Dus we waren dubbel geboekt.Andere appartement was goed. Ontbijt was verschrikkelijk(nog nooit zo slecht gegeten). Gelukkig zijn ook een andere restaurants in de buurt.Geen werkende internet. Hygiene in de WC's en de restaurant niet goed.Geen goede parkeergelegenheid. Rommel/vuilnisbelt rondom de appartementen. Niet mogelijk om te pinnen.

Unhappy at David Dobre.....

We had hand towels to use instead of normal ones, breakfast was gross, worst we've ever had, no WiFi, no soap in the bathroom and we were charged 15 Euros extra because we booked through Hotels.com. Couldn't believe it....

Nice break in Montenegro

We had a short stop here on the way up north from Greece and Albania. It has poor signage on the way from Albania, and we had to go to Bar and then to Dobra Voda. Beside that everything was fine. Staff, hotel and pool were all very engaging. Will come back.
