It is not exactly the city center, but busses and subway can take you anywhere for $2.55 a ride, or a taxi is always near by.

We stayed here for two nights prior to catching our cruise. The hotel is beautiful! We got a family room and it was so spacious and having separate bedrooms when traveling with children is such a luxury. It was walking distance from the Barcelona Zoo and Cafe Mensanna which we wanted to drop in for for lunch. The rooftop bar was a perfect place to hang out after a hot afternoon. Mom and dad could have drinks and sit close by while the kids went for a swim. We dined one night at Dionissos and we highly recommend. Service is slow but that a Spain thing not a hotel thing. The food though is delicious and again, the hotel is so pretty. We had drinks by the bar at night and every cocktail we tried was a hit. We visited Park Guell and Sagrada Familia and those were short cab rides away and not to mention front desk would call the cab for me (cabs are perfectly situated just outside to the left). It was so nice. We plan to be back the next time we are in Barcelona.

Really lovely hotel. Nice staff. We had the family room which was great for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). Located about a 10 minute walk from the boardwalk, the location was great.

Only thing that stopped me giving 5 stars all round was lack of aircondition in our room. Temperature reached 26 degrees in late March and was only marginally helped by opening window(room 526}. Tempperature regulation by in room control was not possible!!!

We did not get greeted when we first arrived. No one offer to help us with our luggage as well. The bell boy offered us welcome drink because the receptionist was busy on the phone. Another receptionist saw me from the back room after standing around for a little less than 4 mins to come and greet me only to find out he was pointing at the girl on the phone, I said I want to check in , that’s all. He finally did. We got to our room and it was dirty with dusts and the toilet seat was wiggly… we wanted to check out but the manager insisted we stay and gave us another room. She made the stay there a lot better. Thank you.

The Reception staff went out of their way to help everyone, including special meals for allergy folks, always smiling, however busy they were, The Housekeeping and cleanliness was excellent, the Dining staff went out of their way to help and worked as a great team. In the room there was not enough snacks in fridge ie crisp, nibbles as was provided before. Thanks to all your staff. The New Years party went well. It was also great to see H10 looking after their staff ie. the employees children being to a Christmas party/3 Reis
