Comfort Inn Duluth West

"We love staying here and have never had complaints, however this time when we checked-in at 345 we were told the only room type left that we had requested was on the 1st floor facing the freeway right by the 3 way intersection. The traffic noise was bad until 11 & then woke us again off & on starting at 5. We even have a loud white noise machine. They should rethink room charges for that block of rooms. Dealing with that noise, we should not pay the same full price ($300+ a night that weekend) as the quiet hillside view. I did tell the front desk upon check-out and she said that is one of their frequent complaints. I was told they couldn’t give a discount because I booked through hotels.com. Our room was #105."

"Great bang for your buck! Near a Circle K gas station and McDonald’s. Breakfast was good and the hotel staff were SUPER accommodating. The gentleman at the front desk had many items on hand when I asked “where in town can I find this”. 10/10 we surely will be coming back next time in Duluth :-)"

"Very friendly helpful staff. Good rates, and the bed was good. Free tickets to the Zoo was a nice surprise. We didn't take advantage of the fire pits & grills, maybe next time. I love driving up to my room, instead of walking through hallways."

"Our arrival was met with warm and friendly greetings. The staff was very accommodating not only with me but I saw it with other guests that came in. When entering our room, we found it to be very clean and organized. As was the rest of the spaces that we went to in the hotel . The hotel is in a very convenient location. As there are restaurants and several stores within walking distance."

"We stayed in Bryan and everything was great,but I didnt like how the driveway was so short and all the other cabins had long driveways. Other than the driveway being small for my car everything else was amazing."

"This is a work in progress. Totally renovated and beautiful. Needs a few tweeks, ie: shower doors. Bathroom smelled really bad but the rest was delightful. Wonderful bed/mattress. Beautiful room. Definitely worth the stay! Please don’t let animals stay - can’t stand the dander and i think the smell in BR was from an animal urinating!"
