Check in was easy. This home is located in a quiet area not to far from Mt. Washington which is a must do.Plus lots of waterfalls to explore and hiking. We found lots to do over our stay. The kitchen has lots of cooking items all bedding is provided and eveyday items. If in doubt just ask the landloard and they are quick to respond. Was a great place to stay for a family vacation.
Absolutely beautiful home. Had every amenity that anyone could need. Super spacious yet nice and comfy for all of us to hangout . Our once a year trip for us Rhode Island guys to hang out with our Maine friends up in Maine just found a new home in New Hampshire. Great location at a great home. We will definitely be returning.
The home was absolutely beautiful and full of history, which we truly loved. We are very accustomed to staying in older homes, so that aspect was a big plus for us. The property was well maintained and had a lot of charm. There were, however, a significant number of rules, policies, and procedures. We completely understand and respect that this is someone else’s home, but at times it felt a bit overwhelming. There were multiple books and documents outlining rules — including the VRBO listing, the rental agreement, and the check-in book upon arrival — and some of the rules did not fully coincide with one another, which made things a bit confusing.Communication with the renter was generally good. That said, when we reached out about the washer being frozen, the response made it feel as though the issue was solely our responsibility, and no guidance, suggestions, or support were offered regarding a possible solution.Overall, it’s a lovely and unique property, but future guests may want to be prepared for a very structured set of expectations.
This weekend was a friend/family getaway with kids of all ages. The house couldn’t have been more perfect. It was big and easily accommodated everyone! We spent the weekend skiing and loved that Attitash was a quick 4 minute drive from the house. Big plus for us was the kitchen and outdoor fire pit! We also got some snow while we were there and Jana was great and checked in to ensure that we were plowed out and that we had all that we needed. Absolutely recommend this house for anyone visiting Bartlett!
This house was just perfect. There were 14 of us and it was a comfortable fit. There were enough beds for all of us. The kitchen was plenty big and had all the necessary gadgets. The home was really decorated nicely. There was plenty of parking for our four families. Almost all of us went skiing at Attitash( less than 5 minutes away) and Wildcat Resort (a 15 minute drive). The non skiers visited several hiking trails that were close by and some covered bridges. The huge heated side porch was perfect for all our ski equipment. The owner was very friendly, kind, and helpful. We loved it all. The white mountain area is simply breathtaking and we would highly recommend the home.
I love all things vintage, historical, and romantic so this home was just the thing. The home feels like it’s straight out of Anne of Green Gables. The pictures match the home perfectly and I’m so happy every room and bathroom was spacious and had a.c! The kitchen was fully stocked, containing much more than what you’d typically expect. I love the binder that explained rules but also included menus, things to do, how to properly set the table, and recipes. Bartlett is about a 15-20 minute drive into North Conway where we got to enjoy the playground and splash pad with the kids, the shopping and dining, as well as Diana’s bath. We also enjoyed Crawford Notch state park and Santa’s village. My only wish is that our visit was longer. Our group which consisted of adults and children would happily stay at this property again, fall, winter, or summer! We wish we had also made reservations ahead of time for Echo Lake as it books up quickly. Truly, a gorgeous home with a large driveway, adorable backyard, and the front porch of my dreams.
My group and I had a wonderful time at the Bartlett Village Inn. Jana and Mark were communicative, the Inn was sparkling clean and even better than pictured, and check out and check in were easy!
What an amazing weekend! Perfect property for multiple families!
Lots of room for everyone to sleep (and have their own bed and bath). Great dining room for meals together. Big fire pit in the backyard for roasting marshmallows!
This was a girls getaway, the stay was amazing we had ample room to all be comfortable. My sister is a professional cook so she had a blast in what she referred as her “dream kitchen.”
We did a lot of local activities including the Saco river float which was not that far of a drive. Enjoyed the scenic views along the way !
This is a hidden gem that you won’t regret!
Although our plans changed due to the extreme cold, we had lots of fun at the Bartlett Village Inn. The house was perfect for our needs - lots of bedrooms, a big kitchen and plenty of room to hang out. Our host Jana responded immediately to any question that we had. We had lots of laughs and are definitely planning to return - hopefully without the -21 temps.
We loved our stay at the Bartlett Village House! There was PLENTY of room for our party of 9 including a toddler, two kids, and six adults. The house is beautifully furnished and appointed. We loved the kitchen, big dining table, record player, and outdoor fire pit. There covered porch area for ski/outdoor equipment was great. The jacuzzi tub and huge shower in the master were a fun touch! We were expecting a grill but it was stored for the winter. The location and proximity to Attitash was awesome. We didn’t bother with parking because we were close enough to easily get picked up and dropped off! We had such a fun time and would definitely like to return!
