I was greeted by two friendly staff members who quickly checked me into a dog-friendly room. I honestly expected the room to have a lingering pet odor, but I was exhausted and didn’t think much of it. To my relief, the room was accessible from a back entrance, which made things much easier with the dogs. When I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised — the room was spotless, modern, and completely odor-free. The area surrounding the hotel doesn’t offer much, but it was perfect for walking my dogs. Downtown is only about a mile away, with several dining options available. The good part is that the side of the hotel next to the railroad line has decent sound insulation, so it isn't super loud when the trains go by. But the sound insulation between rooms seems nonexistent. The person in the unit next to ours was yelling and swearing into his phone for hours. The management would not relocate us to another room. It was built in 2024, but construction quality is poor and very poor finish work. Breakfast was a range of different extruded food-like items.
