"Clean and functional room with air conditioning. Towels and soap included. No kettle for hot drinks. A pay for hot & cold drinks / snack machine in the foyer. A good selection of continental breakfast with excellent coffee / hot drinks dispenser. Friendly staff with reasonable / good English. A clean hotel with plenty of parking. Easy to find on outskirts of Saint Lo. There was an ok Italian restaurant next door and a grill restaurant on the same block. A McDonald restaurant near by."

"I am writing this review as we are driving away, and I’m sad to be leaving! We only stayed one night and it was far too short. This was the mid-way point in our France trip (fantastic location for visiting Mont Saint Michel), and our one peaceful night in between city-center stays. It was amazing in every sense. The grounds and chateau are meticulously kept and just beautiful. The breakfast (made up of items you self-select upon check in) was abundant and delicious. We stayed in the triple room and it was incredibly spacious, including a huge bathroom with a spacious shower and amazing jetted tub. The hospitality was also unmatched and greatly appreciated. We loved sitting in the grand salon reading and playing cards before check out this morning. We all left feeling full of peace and gratitude. I have no doubt this will be our favorite stay during our trip. Thank you so much!"

"Our stay at DdlF was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a different world: peaceful, idyllic, and exactly the escape we needed after two bustling days in Paris. We stayed in the Suite Colette, which was perfect for our family, as our teenager had his own bedroom. The suite itself was exceptional: the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the modern, spotless and modern bathroom was remarkably spacious by French standards. The property grounds look as though they were lifted straight from a French novel. Its peaceful, rural setting was ideal for us - just 15 minutes from Bayeux and about an hour from Mont Saint-Michel, making it a perfect base for exploring the region. What I will remember most, however, are Clémence and the unforgettable breakfasts included with our stay. Everything was extraordinary, from the beautiful garden setting to the delicious food itself. I still dream about those breakfasts. Missing them would be a crime! Clémence, if you're reading this, thank you for making our stay so special. You are a true gem of a host, and you should be incredibly proud of the wonderful place you've created. We cannot wait to return. Cheers, Francesco & Eireen"

Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, besonders der Holzofen macht sich sehr gut und verleiht dem Haus einen besonderen Charme! "This is a small but excellent little cottage, well fitted out with everything you could think of, set in lovely quiet countryside, we didn't take our dogs but the property is fenced all round and gated, has both English and French TV channels and plenty of DVDs, lovely and warm and cosy, it is immaculately clean and there is loads of local information in the hosts folders, would highly recommend this cottage if you love the country side and walking in peace and tranquil surroundings, we used it as a base for visiting the DDay beaches and memorials it is a bit of a drive to them but excellent to come back to the solitude in the evening and relax in the silence that you just don't get in the more tourist area's, would highly recommend this property and will probably use it again, the communication's with the host was easy and very helpful.Congratulations on such a lovely property at such a great price.Thank you"
