(586 reviews) I have mixed feelings about this property. The room was very clean, and the sheets were changed daily, so I had no concerns in that regard. The location was good, in a very safe neighborhood. If I were to go to Buenos Aires again, I would probably look for a hotel a little closer to Recoleta or Palmero, as those were my favorite neighborhoods. Cleanliness and location would both merit five stars, in my estimation. However, check-in was confusing. I had checked into my room online before arriving. When I got there, however, that didn't seem to matter. The staff really wanted me to check in with WhatsApp, which I don't use and didn't have on my phone. The staff spoke no English, and my Spanish isn't as good as it could be, adding to the difficulties. They eventually gave up and let me get into my room anyway. When I got to my room, the air conditioner was off. I contacted the staff, and was told that I needed to turn it on with WhatsApp. They eventually turned it on for me. Once on, it continually dripped onto the nightstand. It wasn't too bad, so I just put a hand towel on the nightstand to muffle the dripping sound. The air conditioner quit working at one point, and was off for almost a whole day. I don't really know why it quit working, but I was certainly glad when it started again. In conclusion, if you've got WhatsApp, you should have a much better time working with the staff.
