Lochardil hotel looked lovely from the outside and the bar/restaurant area were lovely inside with helpful staff and good service. The room was very dated and details such as sealant flaking from side of bath, toilet seat loose, wardrobe door not fitted properly, uneven floor near bathroom, squeaky hinges on bathroom door, kettle supplied though the only plug to be able to use it with was on the floor at the foot of the bed. In this day and age, hotels that do not have smart tvs (this was a Samsung tv from early 2000’s) are rare but this was what was provided in the room. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was nice but the room definitely needs some TLC (some of these are easy fixes)
