Welcome to Bend! Whether it's biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, playing in the water or just drinking great beer; I know that you will enjoy it all from the centrally located Olney Ave Re:Treat 2.0. With renovation completed in June 2018, you will find a warm, modern ambiance that is perfectly situated less than 1 mile from the heart of Bend. This is a perfect space for a family retreat, a group of friends, or a family looking for the comfort of a home while away. - Now get out and play!

Even though this is mentioned in several parts of the listing, it occasionally it gets overlooked; there is a mother in law apartment over the back area of the house where other guests may stay. There are no shared spaces and separate entrances. I do ask all guests to respect each others vacations by observing quiet hours between 10:00pm - 7:00am. Thank you.

Bend Ski Getaway
Great location and perfect for a week with friends. Spent each day between Mt. Bachelor and a quick Uber to town for great food and evening festivities. Look forward to doing it again next year.

We stayed at this house for a long weekend, we have an adult child, an elementary aged child and a toddler. It was a great separation of space so the youngest could sleep and we could play games or work in the kitchen. The Pong table is fun and unique. The house was very clean, everything in good working order, check in and out was very easy. We would stay here again.

The house was great for our party of 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 kid. The kitchen was well stocked to cook a few meals. It had a couple of rooms to hang out and a fun tabletop video game console. We had a lot of fun with that playing some old school games. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable too. Great overall rental!!

We had a fantastic stay for a father/son’s ski trip. The house worked out fantastic and the pictures are exactly what the home is. Neighborhood location with a short walk to grocery stores and a 5 minute Uber ride to downtown restaurants/brewpubs.

Bend Renovated stay
The apartment was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is well stocked. We cooked our breakfasts and most dinners at the house. The neighborhood is pleasant and it's a short drive to the downtown riverwalk. My husband and I stayed 8 nights and our friends stayed 4. It was a perfect setup for two couples with the bedrooms and bathrooms at opposite ends of the apartment (we did not use the third bedroom). You definitely hear footsteps and water noises coming from the upstairs apartment so if you are a light sleeper, this would probably be a deal breaker, but the sounds did not bother us.

Nice location and size for family
Family of six in town for a youth sports tournament. We were able to sleep comfortably with one utilizing the couch. We’ve been to Bend before and this is a pretty convenient location. No Central AC but there were two large portables and plenty of fans to keep us comfortable. We’re also from western Washington so we’re used to not having AC. You can occasionally hear the people in the other part of the rental but it didn’t bother us. Owner was quick to respond to an inquiry we had upon arrival. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We would stay here again.

Good location, property was as described and as per photos. Nice size place for a group, esp. if you have multiple couples. Having a washer/dryer was a plus. Owner does nice job of stocking supplies (TP, paper towels, dish soap, etc.).

Nice time in Bend but
1st of all it was as advertised, good. We enjoyed our stay. We would stay there again. A few suggestions: the lower level is colder than the upper level, maybe a radiator space heater; a shovel would have been nice as it snowed, we had to borrow our friends; a mat by the door for said snowy shoes; a rain gutter by the steps as melting snow runoff froze at night creating slippery hazard. But, the owner was friendly when I talked to him and promptly got us a grill for cooking. Most of above suggestions would most likely have been taken care of if we would have contacted the owner but we were able to get by. Without friends in the area we would have had to. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Close to all you need with room to relax and enjoy
The home is in a great location for activities in the Bend area. It’s within walking distance of restaurants, it’s in a nice quiet neighborhood, and it has easy access to jump on roads and highways to the beautiful forests and trails in the area. Our host, Jason, was such a wealth of information and very responsive to requests about the property. We had an enjoyable stay. Thank you, Jason!
