Honestly, I thought I had booked right next to the airport (it is a 5 minute drive but would’ve been a 40 minute walk), and considered cancelling when I realized my mistake, but I’m glad I didn’t! "The neighborhood is lovely - quiet, with tree-lined streets and many restored Jugenstil houses - but only two blocks from a streetcar stop with quick connections to the centre of the city. I came to Halle for a special exhibit at the archaeology museum, and was pleased that the Pension was only two tram stops away."
