Very vquirky, art deco hotel. Much attention gone into providing a unique setting (lighting, pictures, William Morris wallpaper). Breakfast was (really) superb. The air conditioning in our room couldn't be turned off and there were no instructions so we changed room. Next room was fine except sink plug got stuck. It was a shame as the investment in the electronic wizardry seemed to take precedence over the basic things. However, if we were to stay in Bergen again, this is the hotel we would choose. It was also very centrally located and only a short walk to the tram for the airport.

My only concern was the parking in a garage, should have told me in the write up. And does any one dust anymore? I was asked to clean before I left. I left it the way I found it. I had to make the beds for two. No worries, but weird for Americans! beauty apartment, beautiful neighborhood!! Kiwi store right across the street!!

Lovely apartment within walking distance to the main part of town. Very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable lounge area. Would stay again!

"Nice place, fancier than I expected for the price we paid. The room was pretty small but perfectly adequate. We paid a little extra for a few hours in the spa pool. Also paid for breakfast on our last day which was more expensive than I expected but it was quite good with a lot of variety."
