This was our first stop on our 2.5 week European Honeymoon. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We wanted to stay longer simply due to the staff. These people are amazing. They remember your names, they remember what you want to drink, they will book tours for you, recommend places to eat and places to go.
A few days after we left they sent an email thanking us for staying and told us to enjoy our trip to Prague. Then they mentioned if we needed help in France we could...

Having just arrived from a terrible hotel experience in Paris as part of an extended vacation, checking in to Hotel Metropol was a breath of fresh air. All of the staff was friendly, hospitable, and very helpful but the gentlemen who works the front desk in the afternoon was exceptional!! He provided me with local recommendations of where to go and a map of how to get there, clear and useful instructions for how the hotel works, and his energy and spirit were just so welcoming. While I do quite a bit of business travel, this stay was during the vacation, when I visited my son at TUM in Garching. My schedule was pretty loose, but at any time of day and night I've seen plenty of jetlagged travelers, catching up on work at the very comfortable lounge or enjoying a drink or two at the bar. Everything you need was right there: 24x7 shop with snacks and drinks, laundry, gym and meeting rooms, excellent coffee in the morning and refreshing weissbier at the end of the day,...

The staff is super friendly, the rooms are great and it was something great to me that the tv of your room had your name in the welcome message. The only thing that they need to improve is the breakfast, it'd be great if the buffet had more variety

Very nice place to stay in Munich. Centrally located for public transportation and in a safe area. The highlight is the breakfast spread — make sure you take advantage of what they offer for a good start to your day. Wonderful people taking care of you, especially Avni. He and his co-workers are the best and want to see that you are happy with everything. No need to go anywhere else for breakfast!
