Beautiful, sun-drenched vacation apartment on the Dünsberg - surrounded by greenery

The S26 vacation rental awaits you with its beautiful 40 square meters of space, featuring a gorgeous sun terrace and views of fields, forests, and the Dünsberg. The S26 is equipped with underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV in both the living room and the bedroom—complete with Apple TV and Magenta TV for enjoyable TV nights. Wi-Fi is free, as is the private parking spot right outside the door.

Built in 2022, it promises the highest level of living comfort.

Our goal is for our guests to feel right at home from the very first moment and to enjoy their time at the S26 to the fullest.
We love and live for being hosts, and we’ve already had the chance to fully embrace this role over the past few years with our café in wonderful Marburg.

We love to travel a lot, and over the past few years we’ve gained many experiences and insights into what makes a stay truly special. Inspired by our jobs at a railroad company, the idea for the “S26” was born. Don’t expect an S-Bahn here, but rather a place full of ideas and attention to detail—with little nods to the very same S26 that runs through our hometown of Berlin.

If we were to ask every single person in Krumbach, you’d surely get the same answer: “This is the most beautiful place.”

Centrally located, yet so peaceful. Nestled between Gießen (13 km), Wetzlar (12 km), and Marburg (18 km), right at the foot of the Dünsberg (490 m above sea level) with its many beautiful hiking trails, very close to Lake Aartal, just 45 minutes from Frankfurt Airport, and with quick access to the highway (A45/A5), the S26 is perfectly located.

Gießen is known as a university town, with a large downtown area, many great restaurants and cafés, and attractions such as a theater, the Mathematikum, and museums just waiting to be explored.

Wetzlar is an important cultural, industrial, and commercial center, home to companies such as Leica, Zeiss, and Buderus. In Wetzlar, you’ll find everything your heart desires, including a beautiful historic district and plenty of shopping options.

Marburg is a true gem in Hesse. It’s arguably the most beautiful city, with a spectacular upper town, the Landgrave’s Castle, small hidden alleyways, countless staircases, many small cafés, and is definitely the top tourist destination in the entire region. Major companies are also based here, such as DVAG and BioNTech.
