Perfect, dog-friendly property
Chose this rental to visit family 2 min away. Home was everything we hoped for and more. Home was pet friendly and had an enclosed yard. Appreciated the little accomodations throughout the home (e.g. well-stocked kitchen, cellphone charging station, good Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, tons of extra pillows and blankets sealed in plastic). Will definetely stay again in the future.

Steps away from a busy/noisy road
Biggest complaint is that the property is steps away from a relatively busy and noisy (due to the high speed of traffic) road. In the summer with no air you have to have the windows open to keep cool so you are constantly aware of the road - especially at night when the car headlights along with the noise remind you of the proximity of the road. The last thing you want when booking a forest getaway in the mountains. Next I would swear that the property pix were taken with a fish eye lense because they make the property seem more spacious than it is. That being said, once we let those details go we did enjoy our time here. Everything in the place seemed very new and high end - from kitchen aid appliances in a cook’s kitchen to the granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms. Only exceptions were the painting and the mushy linoleum floors which seemed low end in comparison to all the other fancy decor. Though guess hard wood doesn’t make sense in a rental where half the year is snowy. The service was impeccable- very timely and came out twice - once to provide 3 new fans since unit did not have any and a second time to replace the shower heads which sprayed with an intensity that stung. Property is also surrounded with dogs so be aware if traveling with own pets prone to barking at nearby dogs. Overall property very nice but smaller than expected and location not ideal if looking to return to nature from unit.
