From giant pandas to orangutans, forests are home to some amazing creatures. While we can't guarantee you'll see those animals at Big Lonely Doug, you'll enjoy trying to spot what wildlife does live here.
This dense growth of trees is often on the itineraries of visitors to Lake Cowichan. But Big Lonely Doug isn't the area's only drawcard. Avatar Grove, and San Juan River Estuary Ecological Reserve are some other interesting sights close by.
