“I was very impressed with the hotel reception, nice decoration and the room is comfy, big and clean. ”

“The room is spacious. Hotel reception puts us in a room far from the pub, which is quiet and comfortable. No air conditioning but I feel ok in June if the windows are open with the fan on. The only improvement is that the room should have a kettle for guests to make hot water. We have to go to the pub and ask for hot water every day, which is not convenient (also I think it may cause inconvenient to the pub owner too)”

“Great breakfast ”

“This is a strange set up, with the hotel on a high floor above a shopping center near the Rhein. The hotel rooms were fine, cleanliness was fine, and the staff were fine (except in the restaurant - where they were excellent). However, this hotel has NO AIR CONDITIONING, and was a hot oven. We had to come up with every excuse not to be in the room. There were fans, but they worked horribly. What really bugged us is that we found out after we left that the same company owned a hotel one floor……

“Disapppinting. My stay at Meyerhof was excellent but they sold out and I had to move down just a few blocks down the street. This place a few blocks away was nearly empty. Now I know why. When asking the red haired girl for internet password she told me she was on the phone. Any normal front desk can put a call on hold and give a guest standing in front of them a bit of useful information. Then the bed is extremely uncomfortable and the drapes allow light in at night from nearby restaurants.……

“A very good hotel which is handy for the airport, a large supermarket and eating opportunities. Spacious room with good seating, AC, shower and bath, kettle, shutters. Very pleasing breakfast but busy with families. We found both the hotel free shuttle from the airport and the local bus to Huningue (then walk over to Weil am Rhein) very useful.”
