"The food"
"The front desk staff were very busy checking-in people because of the on going conference with almost 700 attendees and and there were only 2 two them, the hotel did not provide additional staff to assist them."
"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

Hotel Horizon Wellness & Spa Resort, BW Signature Collection"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the...
"I was on foot so about 15 minute walk from Station with no straight path not great. If staying for Como the last train out is 10pm & taxis expensive. Hotel is fine, with a big car park so good if on driving tour of area."
