Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. "A very homely cottage in a quiet setting just what we as a family wanted and got . The cottage itself had everything that you would have at home which you wouldn’t get in a hotel. Cottage had 3 bedrooms each with un suite bathrooms which certainly is helpful when everyone was getting ready to go out at the same time . "I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult...

"Literally booked this the day before we arrived, found it easily enough, completely off the beaten track, lovely and quiet, really lovely little place, ample big enough for a family, plenty to do in the area. 20 mins or so from Caerphilly and Cardiff, plenty of places to eat or shop, just had a really nice time. Cut short by some issues at home but we'll definitely be back for longer next time. Thanks for accomodating us."
