We lived our cottage with a view of the ocean, gardens and birds.
Our cottage was the best ever as well as the food and service. We would definitely recommend Block Island you our friends and family.
The property was exactly was I was looking for. The staff and owners were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Relaxing and beautiful views. Will definitely return. Thank you all for a wonderful stay in the cottage.

This was my first time trying a “shared bathroom” room and I won’t ever do it again. While it’s not the hotel’s fault, I think potential guests should have an idea of what it’s like. I thought since I was in “off season” and because I was only staying one night for work, I would risk it. The building my room was in had severely drunk guests who were loudly yelling and puking in the bathroom all night. When I went to the shared bathroom in the morning, there were dirty wet towels all over the ground and the toilet was pretty gross. I opted to just wait until I got home to shower. In my opinion, not worth the saved money to share a bathroom unless you’re college kids who don’t care.
The view from my room was very relaxing and I like that you can walk to restaurants and shops within ten minutes. I think the price of the taxis are a little high for short distances but otherwise a very nice getaway. Very clean as well.
