"We love staying at this hotel when visiting granddaughter at IU. We did unfortunately have an issue this stay. Out room was 61 degrees and we could not adjust the temp. We went to the front desk to address. They contacted maintenance who did something internally and the heat began working but still took hours to get comfortable by bedtime. It then would not shut off no matter what we did and the middle of the night the temp was 76 degrees too hot to sleep. This mess with either freezing or being overly hot was very unpleasant during this stay. Not sure if we would choose this hotel that was previously our favorite in Bloomington."

"Our family had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this cozy cabin! The setting was absolutely beautiful — the two ponds were serene, the property was peaceful, and the stargazing at night was incredible. The owner was so friendly and welcoming at check-in, and the cabin itself was set up really nicely with everything we needed to unwind.I didn’t have much luck fishing this time, but that’s on me — the ponds were lovely and well kept. My only small note is that there was a bit of a musty smell inside that lingered even with the windows open and a candle burning, but I’m sure that’s something easily fixable. Overall, it was a charming spot and a great place to slow down and recharge."

"The Grant Inn was so charming. The staff was very friendly and they have a different home baked cookie everyday for guests! I often have trouble sleeping at hotels but I had no problem here because it felt like a bedroom in a home. It's also conveniently located near many restaurants. I would highly recommend The Grant Inn for your next stay in Bloomington. "

"Why Stonehenge? Why not - it fits this log cabin perfectly, unique and peaceful. However, the property description did not make clear that this cabin has no electricity or running water. The "1 bathroom" is actually a port-a-potty, and the bed is a bare metal cot. You need to bring your camping gear - sleeping bag, pillows, mattress, battery operated light... in order to enjoy this cabin. And it's worth it!"
